01 Introduction 

Sichuan Airport Group Aviation Ground Service Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as Tianfu airport ground service company) is responsible for the operation and management of Chengdu Tianfu International Airport cargo area. The group provides international and domestic air cargo (including general cargo, express mail, mail, dangerous goods, special cargo, etc.) transportation and supporting services as well as port services. Main business of the group also includes air cargo collection and delivery, storage, build-up, transportation, loading and unloading, customs inspection, etc. 

The international cargo terminal covers a total area of 357 mu (23.8 hm²), and is within the same customs control zone (fences) with Air China Cargo and Sichuan Airlines Cargo. The terminal is equipped with inspection center, express center, fumigation warehouse, special commodity warehouse, etc., which can meet the inspection requirements for imported and exported goods. The domestic cargo terminal is located at the north side of the airport, adjacent to Air China and Sichuan Airlines Cargo Terminal, covering a total area of about 146 mu (9.73 hm²), with a total warehouse area around 26,000 m² equipped with 7 import channels and 6 export channels.

01  Overview

The freight area of Tianfu Airport includes three cargo stations, namely, the airport, Air China and Sichuan Airline. The airport cargo station is operated and managed by Sichuan Province Airport Group Ground Service Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Airport Ground Service Company). It mainly provides relevant supporting functional services for international and domestic air cargo transportation (general cargo, express delivery, mail, dangerous goods, special cargo, etc.). Its main business scope includes civil aviation ground transportation agency service; international and domestic air cargo terminal business (mainly including warehousing, loading and unloading, customs declaration and customs supervision warehouse business); installation, maintenance and sales of airport ground equipment and facilities; lease of own equipment and sites; property management, etc.

The international cargo station of the airport is located in the international cargo park of Tianfu Airport, with a total built up area of about 31,000 m2, 10 receiving channels and 3 delivery channels, and a cold chain center of 1,700 m2, equipped with AGV, ETV and other related equipment. At the same time, the freight park is also built with supporting facilities such as customs clearance port center, inspection center, express center, fumigation warehouse and pre-interception operation site, which can meet the demand of cargo import and export.

I. Park Introduction

Located within the freight yard of Chengdu Tianfu Airport, Sichuan Airlines Tianfu Logistics Park is divided into three parts: domestic cargo area, international cargo area and freight forwarding area, with a total construction area of 66,000 m2, of which the domestic cargo area covers about 41,000 m2 and the international cargo area about 14,500 m2. The Park provides a variety of services, including dangerous goods transportation, cargo storage, pet airline tickets, frozen and refrigerated storage, and temperature-controlled medicine transportation.

Freight station of Air China Cargo Company limited at Chengdu international airport(Hereinafter referred to as Chengdu Freight station) is operated and managed by Air China Cargo Company limited, and its main business scope includes civil aviation ground transport agency services; International and domestic air cargo terminal services (mainly including general cargo storage services, loading, unloading and handling, air cargo packaging, customs supervised warehouse services); Parking lot service。

Chengdu freight station includes three areas: domestic freight area, international freight area and international freight forwarding area, with a total land area of 236.63 acres. The domestic cargo area is located in the east of the cargo area of the Chengdu international airport, covering an area of 158.70 acres. The international cargo area is located in the west of the cargo area of the Chengdu international airport and covers an area of 56.64 acres. The international freight forwarding area is located in the northwest of the Chengdu international airport cargo area, covering an area of 21.29 acres.

There are 10 receiving channels and 1 shipping channels in the domestic cargo area. The international cargo area is equipped with 8 receiving channels and 1 delivery channels, and cold chain storage, ETV and other related equipment.
